Google again trolls Apple for RCS messages
The iMessage shows messages received by Android phones as wholly different things such as bubbles and different chat colors. Through its recent Tweet, Google pointed out that iMessage even doesn’t show a Read Receipt, and said that it won’t stop criticizing until the RCS arrival for Apple products.
“If you’re gonna ignore people, including your own customers, at least do it with a Read Receipt. If you thought we were done, we’re not stopping until Apple can #GetTheMessage”
Earlier, Google started a campaign (#GetTheMessage) in order to force Apple, the iPhone maker, to adopt the RCS messaging standard in iOS. Apple’s iMessage platform is quite intelligent, but its sweetness becomes mild when the sender is using an Android smartphone.
Up from SMS and MMS, Google adopted the RCS (Rich Communication Settings) in the Android operating system, letting users get a whole new experience with new features and futuristic functionalities. There are a lot of issues among consumers using iOS and Android smartphones related to direct messages.
