Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Fold 3 will get One UI 4.1.1 update on Sep 13 in Canada

Samsung unveiled One UI 4.1.1 with Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Galaxy Z Fold 4 on August 10, 2022. Last week, the company started pushing this major update for non-foldable Galaxy devices, Galaxy S22 series became the first non-foldable device to receive One UI 4.1.1. Now, new information reveals the release date of One UI 4.1.1 for the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Galaxy Z Fold 3.

According to the Community Manager, Samsung will release One UI 4.1.1 update based on Android 12 for Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Galaxy Z Fold 3 on September 13. In addition to One UI 4.1.1 features, the update will install an August 2022 security patch to enhance system security and stability.

Moreover, the Community Manager also reveals that the update will replace the Google Duo app with the Google Meet app. The Google Duo icon will automatically be changed with the Meet icon after updating the Google Meet app.

On September 13, the Android 13-based One UI 4.1.1 update will start initially released for Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Galaxy Z Fold 3 users in Canada. After that, the company will expand this update in more regions.
