Recently, Samsung released the latest September security patch for the Galaxy S21 FE and Galaxy S20 FE devices. Now, the company is expanding the September 2022 security update for the Galaxy A53 smartphone users in the US, for both carrier locked and unlocked models.

According to the information, the Galaxy A53 5G September 2022 security update brings firmware versions: A536USQU3AVH1 (carrier-locked) and A536U1UES4AVH4 (carrier unlocked). It is currently available on AT&T, Bluegrass Cellular, Comcast, Sprint, T-Mobile, Verizon, and Xfinity Mobile carriers in the US.

The September 2022 update for the Galaxy A53 5G provides fixes for various CVEs and SVEs in order to enhance the overall system security of the device. To be mentioned, the update brings patches to 21 high, and 3 moderate levels of CVEs alongside 29 Samsung Vulnerabilities and Exposures (SVE) items.

If you want to check for the updates manually on your Galaxy A53 smartphone, just head towards the Settings menu, scroll down and select Software update, then finally hit the Download and install button. Shortly after the initial rollout, Samsung will expand its availability to more regions.
