Samsung’s Android 12L (One UI 4.1.1) update brings September 2022 patch to your Galaxy Z Fold 2

Samsung has now begun rolling out the Android 12L-based One UI 4.1.1 update for the Galaxy Z Fold 2 smartphone users. The major software is currently available in Germany, which can be identified via PDA version number – F916BXXU2HVHA.

In addition to the One UI 4.1.1 features, the new Galaxy Z Fold 2 update comes with the latest September 2022 security patch in order to enhance the overall system security and stability. With the Android 12L, you will get an enhanced experience while using various apps on the Fold 2’s large screen.

One UI 4.1.1 brings Android 12L’s Taskbar feature for the Galaxy devices, which has been added at the bottom of the screen, making the tablet’s UI more intuitive and user-friendly than ever before.

Using this, you can enjoy swifter, more intuitive app switching, more customizable layouts, frictionless multitasking, and apps that render better than ever.

Apart from these features, users can also create app pairs and add them to the Taskbar, so you can directly access the pre-defined apps in multi-window mode – with just a click alongside experiencing enhanced functional usability of the Smart View.

The update also adds text extraction ability to the stock Samsung Camera app, letting you extract and copy the text content directly from the camera app’s viewfinder. Even ahead, you will be able to do the same with the pictures having text in your Gallery.

Moreover, the One UI 4.1.1 software update lets you set different calling backgrounds for each contact. And the stock Keyboard app is now additionally customizable so you can rearrange expressions (emojis, stickers, and more) buttons by touching and holding them.
