According to the information (TheElec), the South Korean tech giant will use a bigger battery in the next generation Galaxy S series smartphones as the company is boosting the capacity of the battery by 5%, however, the size of the battery remains the same.

As of now, the increase in battery capacity for all models is yet to be confirmed. The Base and Ultra models may maintain their battery capacity, while the Plus model may have increased battery. The battery of the Plus model is expected to be 4700 mAH.

Expanding the battery capacity of any smartphone is not an easy thing, but with increasing technology, users want to use such smartphones which have good battery backup.

So to expand the battery capacity, Samsung is using stacking technology this time, stacking the battery internal material layer by layer like a ladder to expand the capacity of SDI pouch-type batteries.

In mid-September 2022, an alleged battery bearing the Galaxy S23 Plus model number EB-BS916ABY appeared on the Security Korea certification site. The Chinese firm ATL (Ningde Amperex Technology Limited) manufactured the battery for the Galaxy S23+ model.
