According to tipster Ricciolo, the Korean tech giant may present a Satellite connectivity feature for Galaxy devices. As multiple OEMs are already bringing this feature to their devices and Samsung does not want to be left behind.

So, what is meant by satellite connectivity? It is a function that is mainly a supplement to terrestrial cellular communication systems, mainly used in remote areas, ocean and sky scenarios, and emergency disaster relief scenarios.

As Apple has partnered with GlobalStar network to acquire 85% of its current and future network capacity, Samsung may have to opt for another satellite connectivity provider instead of Globalstar.

Some reports also suggest that Samsung may join hands with Starlink Services to implement satellite features on its handset products.

However, the company has not yet officially confirmed that it will bring the satellite feature to its upcoming smartphone, so we can consider this information as a pinch.
