One UI 5.0 Advanced Features

Samsung has now categorized the advanced One UI 5.0 features and divided them into different sections with relevant options. The One UI 5.0’s Advanced features section now showcases the Labs tab on the top side, which incorporates various experimental features.

After Labs, the second Advanced features section embeds the S Pen tab for the Galaxy S22 Ultra, followed by the Side key, Motion and gestures, and One-handed mode. Using these options, you can modify the way you interact with your smartphone.

In the next un-named category, you can find the Bixby Routines and Smart suggestions features. Both of these features work with the help of artificial intelligence and machine learning to present related automated results to users while they access services in the One UI ecosystem.

Next to the AI features, you can access the Screenshots and screen recorder services in the below section alongside a toggle that shows contacts when sharing content when enabled. Inside the Screenshots and screen records functions, you can modify the format, quality, and other settings.

In the One UI 5.0, the last four advanced features are Video call effects, Game launcher, Video brightness, and Dual messenger. The Video call effects feature lets you choose a background for video calls, while the Game launcher boosts the performance of gaming apps by limiting RAM distribution to others.

Aside from this, there are several features missing from the section such as Link to Windows after upgrading to the One UI 5.0. No need to worry about that, as can still access them, just the way has been tweaked and you can now find them in a newly added section – Connected devices.

Updated: With the One UI 5 Beta 3 update, Samsung has shifted Bixby Routines from Advanced Setting to a new section called Modes. The company optimized and make a separate section for Routines and modes. To visit, just open Settings and then Modes.
