After the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S21, and Galaxy A52, Samsung has today started rolling out the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 Beta update for Galaxy S20 smartphones. At the same time, the company is also testing this major update on some of its older smartphones internally and these include the Galaxy A71.

Recently, the CheckFirm app detected a major software update for the Samsung Galaxy A71 smartphone and that is Android 13-based One UI 5.0. As per the information, this update bears the One UI build version A715FXXU8CVD1.

Notably, this update is being prepared for Indian Galaxy A71 customers. However, it’s not necessary that the update should release in India first. Besides these, we don’t have any other information on the release schedule of the Samsung Galaxy A71 One UI 5.0 update.

On the other hand, the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 will be the last major software system switch for the Galaxy A71 smartphones. It is likely that the device could also get One UI 5.1 in mid-2023 but the next major Android switch is not possible since it will complete its major software update cycle with Android 13.

Stable One UI 5.0 release date:

The Korean company will hold Samsung Developer Conference 2022 on October 12. At the same event, the tech giant will also introduce the stable version of One UI 5.0 that relies on the Android 13 operating system.

It seems possible that stable One UI 5.0 will start reaching Galaxy smartphones on October 12 itself. It’s obvious that the Samsung Galaxy S22 devices will grab it first and then it will expand to more users. Considering the Galaxy A71, it could get the update in early 2023.
