One UI 4.1.1 update now available for Samsung Galaxy S20 FE in the US
Samsung has almost finished releasing the Android 12L-based One UI 4.1.1 update for its foldable smartphones and tablets. Meanwhile, the company is also offering its select features to regular flagship smartphones. After Samsung Galaxy S22, Galaxy S21, and Galaxy S21 FE devices, the Galaxy S20 FE 5G is the latest to grab the One UI 4.1.1 update in the US.
It is worth mentioning that Samsung is rolling out the Galaxy S20 FE Android 12-based One UI 4.1.1 update for Verizon-locked customers in the US. However, the company will soon expand this update to more customers in other countries.

Furthermore, the latest One UI update for this smartphone comes with some new features and improvements. In addition to this, it also gets the September 2022 Android security patch in order to enhance the device’s performance and user experience.

Going by the official changelog, this update brings two new multitasking features including Swipe for split screen and Swipe for pop-up view. These swipe gestures will make performing several tasks at once easier.
Moreover, the device is also getting enhanced Smart View with new Multi View features. The company brings a new Multi-View options window that appears on selecting the Multi-View controls from the Smart View drop-down list.
Lastly, the update log also notes the Private share feature that will let you edit file names even after it is shared through private sharing. For more information, click here.

Android 12-based One UI 4.1.1 comes to Galaxy S21 FE 5G with One UI build version G781VSQU6FVH2. If you haven’t yet received the update notification, you can check it manually through Settings >> Software update >> Download and install.
