When Samsung first started the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 Beta program, it introduced a slew of new features. Among so many One UI 5.0 components, one most appreciating was Multi-user support, which will remove in the next beta build and stable update.

One UI 5.0 Multi-user feature separates two or more Samsung accounts in one Galaxy smartphone so that you can operate different profiles to more clearly separate your work life from your home life – one profile is for personal use while the other is for business.

The beta team has further told that developers are facing several issues in the new One UI version due to the multi-user feature, therefore, it will not be possible to bring it with One UI 5.0.

Moreover, if you are using multi-user functionality in previous beta versions and have important data stored in the sub-user space, the beta team has suggested backing up the data prior to the next software update as there are high chances of data loss.

Multi-user support was one of the most demanding features by Samsung customers and to meet the users’ demand, Samsung brought it with One UI 5.0. Unfortunately, this function is causing many other important features of One UI 5.0 due to which this feature had to be removed.

We hope that Samsung will soon find the solution to this problem and bring this feature again with One UI 5.1. Till then, you can enjoy the other features of One UI 5.0.
