With the initial Beta build, the company deployed several new features and user interface tweaks for the consumers. Moreover, the animations got notable changes with the One UI 5.0 Beta 2 compared to the previous One UI 4.1 software, based on Android 12.
Beta 2
About 20 days after of releasing the Beta 1, Samsung pushed the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 Beta 2 for the most recent flagships. This version wholly ruined the system animations for almost all use cases such as jumping to the home screen, back from the app, and closing widgets.
Furthermore, the Korena tech giant faced lots of issues during a new One UI 5.0 Beta development because of a major bug in animations. For design, Beta 2 arrived with new icons for various Samsung apps with a new and elegant gradient feel.
Beta 3
Beta 3 took about a month for development and rollout for the Galaxy S22 series phones, meanwhile, Samsung failed to bring perfection to system animations. Users are still complaining about the animations while using different features and functions on the smartphone.
Inspired by Android 13, the One UI 5.0 Beta 3 activated the Material You’s Themed Icons feature for non-Samsung apps too. Users can now use apply Themed Icons on their favorite apps no matter it’s from Samsung, Google, or any other 3rd party developer.
Beta 4
With Beta 3, the Galaxy S22 users got the multi-user feature, which was earlier exclusive for the Galaxy tablets alongside Google Pixels. Meanwhile, the joy of multi-user won’t remain too long as Samsung confirmed that it will scrap the feature due to severe issues.
