Samsung One UI 5.0 Spoken Assistance – Have you checked this hidden feature?
Samsung’s Android 13 skin brings a bunch of customization for Galaxy device settings. In several sections of Settings, the company has added new features and options for UX advancements. In addition to advanced features, connections devices and more sections, Samsung introduced the Spoken Assistance feature for the Accessibility section with One UI 5.0.

Spoken Assistance! It is a feature developed by Samsung with One UI 5.0. The name of this feature is telling its work, yet if we tell, this feature tells all the actions happening on your smartphone through assistant voice. This feature is very helpful for those people who have some problems with their eyes.

You can customize Spoken Assistance at your convenience as this feature provides many options, you can see the list below:
Speak keyboard input aloud
New options will appear once the toggle is turned on, you can use them.
- Speak Keyboard input aloud: From here you can select actions to start using Speaker keyboard input aloud directly. You can start this feature in three easy ways – tap the accessibility button, press and hold volume up and down keys for 3 seconds, and press slide and volume up keys.
- What to read: You can allow reading characters, words, & characters and words.
- Read deleted characters aloud: After enabling this option, you can hear all the deleted characters aloud.
- Phonetic alphabets: While reading letters aloud, use the corresponding word from the phonetics alphabet instead of the letter name.
Audio Description
If available, automatically select the audio soundtrack with an audio description while watching videos.
Bixby Vision for accessibility
In this section, you can enable several features like Scene described, Object Identifier, Text reader, and Color detector as well as open Bixby vision.
Voice Label:
This feature writes voice recordings to NFC tags to provide you with information when your are nearby. The tags are purchased separately and can be associated with objects or locations you use regularly.
How to enable it?
You can easily enable the Spoken assistance feature by following a few steps. Firstly open your device Settings, then scroll down and select the Accessibility option. Here you find the Spoken Assistance feature, tap on it.
