Samsung Galaxy A52 smartphones were the first to grab the October 2022 Android security patch that was released alongside the One UI 5.0 Beta update in late September. Now the company is expanding the October 2022 security update to Galaxy A52 devices running Android 12.

This update does not install any new features or major changes to the device, however, it improves the security and stability of your phone’s software to keep your files and data protected and provide you with the most upgraded functionality.

On the other side, Samsung’s software support page mentions that the October 2022 patch also resolves around 50 vulnerabilities and exposures, which are connected to privacy and security. These fixes include 18 SVE from Samsung and 1 critical, 29 high, and 2 moderate levels CVE from Google.

Furthermore, Samsung Galaxy A52 October 2022 update bears the One UI build version A525FXXS4BVI3. This update is rolling out in Russi at present, however, the company will not take much time to spread it to more customers all over the world.

If you live in Russia, head over to your Galaxy A52’s Settings page, enter the Software update area and tap on Download and install option. The update will appear on your screen, finally hit the Download button to start the process.
