Samsung Wallet app will soon be available in 13 more countries

Samsung Wallet’s availability will be extending to more countries before 2022 ends. At SDC 2022, the company announced that Samsung Wallet will be available in 13 more countries including Bahrain, Denmark, Finland, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Norway, Oman, Qatar, South Africa, Sweden, Switzerland, Vietnam, and U.A.E.

Back in June 2022, the Korean tech giant introduced the Samsung Wallet app, and further released it on the Galaxy Store for Galaxy consumers in a handful of markets including South Korea, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, the U.S., and the U.K.

During the keynote, the company revealed plans for Samsung Wallet expansion in more new countries but didn’t comment on the exact release timeline. As per the earlier rollout, Samsung could make the Samsung Wallet app available through Galaxy Store in the new markets, while, the availability may vary by model, carrier and region.

Samsung’s comprehensive digital wallet app lets Galaxy smartphone users store their payment cards, digital IDs, tickets, and more. It’s a hybrid variant of Samsung Pay and Samsung Pass and an immense competitor of Google Wallet, allowing users to organize their boarding passes, IDs, payment cards, and digital keys.
