One UI 5.0 Beta goes live for Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3, Flip 3 in the US
Samsung has started the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 One UI 5.0 Beta program in the US. This update is released for the carrier-unlocked models of these devices in the country and T-Mobile-locked devices could also get it very soon.
The One UI 5.0 Beta program is a chance for last year’s foldable smartphone to test the new Android 13 features and improvements before the public release. Interested customers can go to the Samsung Members app to register for this beta program.

Once you open the Samsung Members app, you will see a banner on the home page that reads One UI Beta Program, simply tap on the batter and register for the program by filling in all the mandatory details.
Now wait for a few minutes and your Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 or Galaxy Z Flip 3 will deliver you a new software update which is the One UI 5.0 Beta update. You can check this update by heading to Settings of your phone followed by the Software update menu and the Download and install option.

What’s new in One UI 5.0?
Android 13-based One UI 5.0 will install a slew of new features and countless improvements to your foldable smartphones. It brings 16 color palette options to provide users with more color themes that sync with your phone’s wallpaper.
There’s a “Connected devices” menu in the Settings app which manages all your phone’s external connections right from one place to provide you with more convenience for controlling your smart TV, PC, wearable, or another smartphone.
In addition to these, the new software brings a Camera watermark feature with some customizable options, new swipe gestures for easier multitasking, new calling features, the ability to disable RAM Plus, Lockdown mode, stackable widgets, and much more.
