Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 smartphone users have started installing the latest October 2022 Android security patch update in the US. The update is currently live for Verizon-locked customers in the country and will soon expand to other carrier networks.

The company is rolling out the October 2022 patch with the One UI build version F926USQS2DVI4 and F711USQS3DVI4 for Fold 3 and Flip 3 phones respectively. And, you can bring these updates to your devices through the Software update menu from Settings.

In terms of vulnerability fixes, Samsung’s software support page mentions fixes for 50 exposures that affect users’ privacy and security. These fixes include 18 SVE items from Samsung and 1 critical, 29 high, and 2 moderate levels CVEs from Google.

Galaxy Z Fold 3, Flip 3 One UI 5.0 Beta program is now open:

Yesterday, Samsung has started the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 Beta update rollout for Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 smartphones. Alongside Korea, the UK, and India, the update is also live in the US.

Unfortunately, Verizon customers are not eligible to fill out the application. Meanwhile, if you are a carrier-unlocked variant user of these devices, you can go to Samsung Members apps to enroll in the One UI 5.0 Beta program in the US.
