As the One UI 5.0 Beta Program is officially live in the US, consumers having carrier-unlocked Galaxy Note 20 or Note 20 Ultra can download the first Beta update. Before heading toward system Settings, you will be needing to join the Beta program first.

Read all of the terms and important instructions before joining the Beta program. If you agree with the conditions, hit the Enroll button and complete the Beta registration process on your Galaxy Note 20 series smartphone.
Now, you need to wait for about 10 minutes as the company will verify your account details before pushing the Beta update over the air. Shortly, you should get the update notification, connect your phone with an unmetered connection to download the big firmware update and install it.
We recommend you take a backup of your phone’s important and personal data before switching to the Beta firmware. The One UI 5.0 Beta testing doesn’t remove any kind of info or data from the phone, but it would be good to obey all safety measures.
