Samsung One UI 5.0 Beta (Android 13) now live for Galaxy Z Fold 2, expands for Note 20

Samsung has started the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 Beta program for Galaxy Z Fold 2 and Galaxy Note 20 smartphones in South Korea. While the Fold 2 is getting the beta update for the time, the Note 20 users in the US have already installed it last week.

This beta update introduces a slew of new features. In addition, it carries countless improvements and customization options so you can fully personalize your phone.

Interested Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 and Note 20 customers can test the all-new features of Android 13 OS with One UI 5.0 glance by joining the beta program in the country now. The procedure is very simple, you just need to install the Samsung Members app on your device.

Once you open the Samsung Members app, you will see a banner that reads One UI Beta Program, on the home page. Tap on the banner and read all terms and conditions carefully. If you agree to the terms, hit the Join now button and fill in all the mandatory details.

After you submit the application, you will get a new software update on your phone within 10 minutes, that’s the One UI 5.0 Beta update. To install it, head over to your phone’s Settings >> Software update >> Download and install options. Wait for the installation procedure to complete and you can enjoy the latest changes.

Stable release:

Samsung officially announced at SDC22 that the stable One UI 5.0 update will start rolling out by the end of this month. The Galaxy S22 devices which as received all five One UI 5.0 beta updates, will be the first to update publically.

Soon after this, the update will start reaching other eligible devices including Galaxy S21, Galaxy S20, Galaxy Note 20, Galaxy Z Fold/Flip 3, Galaxy Z Fold/Flip 4, Galaxy Z Fold 2, Galaxy A52, and more.
