BREAKING: Samsung One UI 5 Good Lock update rollout begins for Galaxy S22

Yep, Samsung forgot its own announcement and going ahead with the rollout of One UI 5 Good Lock for the Galaxy S22 series devices. Good Lock moderator confirmed that the One UI 5 version is rolling out for Galaxy S22 users with two modules including QuickStar and NotiStar.

Other modules and applications will also start to be available for Galaxy consumers, while Samsung has initially pushed the One UI 5 Good Lock, QuickStar and NotiStar as their testing finished first. The Stable One UI 5.0 update is yet to rollout for Galaxy S22 but it’s not too away now!

The Galaxy S22 series is only getting the Good Lock’s One UI 5 version so the company can quickly respond to any issues that may arise. The major software update brings a number of changes and code updates, hence, chances of unwanted bugs are expected.

Earlier, Samsung published a poll so users can give their opinion regarding the display position of the QuickStar stopwatch. In order to reflect users’ opinions, developers placed stopwatch in both the quick setting window and the quick setting screen.

Here are the new versions:

Good Lock 2.2.04.46

• Added change tab order setting at the bottom of the main screen
  • (More icon at the top > Change tab order)
• Support for children under the age of 14 to use Good Lock except for the terrace function
  • A consent function for using the terrace will be added in the future

QuickStar 6.1.05.09

• One UI 5.0 support
• “Stopwatch” support in the quick setting window
• Support for displaying “date” in the status bar clock area

NotiStar 5.1.08.0

• One UI 5.0 support
