When RAM Plus was introduced with One UI 4.0 last year, it lacked any user options, and it essentially reserved 4GB of storage to use as virtual RAM by default. Moreover, with One UI 4.1, the company brought more customization options to the feature to let users choose the amount of RAM accordingly.

The ability to disable RAM Plus feature allows Galaxy S21 customers that use the phone with plenty of RAM to save some storage that would otherwise be reserved for RAM Plus.

So if you don’t want to use additional RAM on your Galaxy smartphone, you can disable this feature with a few simple clicks. Here is how:

How to disable:

To disable the RAM Plus feature on your Galaxy S21 smartphone, first, go to the system “Settings”. From here enter the “Battery and device care” menu and tap on “Memory”. Now tap on the “RAM Plus” option and simply turn the toggle “off.”

As soon as you tap on the toggle, your phone will ask for a Restart. The feature can not be turned on/off without restart, so tap on the “Restart” option and your phone will be restarted within seconds.
