Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 and Galaxy Tab S7+ devices have started receiving their latest software update as October 2022 Android security patch. With this update, the company improves your phone’s performance in every possible aspect.

It is worth mentioning that Samsung is currently releasing the Galaxy Tab S7 October 2022 security update in select European countries. However, the company will not take much time to spread it to more users in other countries.

  • Galaxy Tab S7: T970OXM2CVJ2
  • Galaxy Tab S7+: T976OXM2CVJ2

Furthermore, the fresh software update does not come with any new features or major changes. It only improves the security of your phone to protect your device from bugs and viruses as enhances the stability to provide you with a seamless user experience.

In terms of vulnerability fixes, this update is pretty light. The update fixes just 50 security vulnerabilities, and 18 of them are specific to Galaxy phones. The remaining 32 fixes are for bugs that exist in Android OS.

If you are using Galaxy Tab S7 or Tab S7+ in Europe, then you should expect to see the OTA sometime soon. If you want to manually check for the update, go to Settings on your phone, find the Software Update settings page and tap on the Download & Install button.

Android 12L/One UI 4.1.1:

A couple of months ago, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 series collected the Android 12L-based One UI 4.1.1 update with lots of new features and improvements. The Taskbar, which lets users easily switch between different applications, was the chief among them.

On the other side, the update also brought two new multitasking gestures: Swipe for Split-screen and Swipe for Pop-up view, Extract test from image feature, improved Pop-overs, new Call backgrounds, and much more.
