With Android 12-based One UI 4.0 software, Samsung introduced a wonderful feature called Color Palette to Galaxy devices. Now with the release of Android 13-based One UI 5.0, the feature is facing major changes. Samsung Galaxy S21 has installed the One UI 5.0 beta update and here are all the new Color Palette features and changes it is getting.

As soon as you apply new wallpaper to your phone, you will get different color palettes that match the wallpaper. This theme will apply on your device’s Settings, Quick settings panel, Notification panel, Dialer, Messages, and on some other elements.

Samsung Galaxy S21 Color Palette: One UI 5.0

First of all, Samsung is bringing Dynamic Theming to more Samsung, Google, and other third-party applications so that when you apply the color palette to app icons, all applications will look similar.

Furthermore, the company has expanded the Dynamic Theme Color Palette options from 4 to 16 with the One UI 5.0 update so the customers can get more choices while choosing a perfect theme for their phone that syncs with the Lock screen or Home screen wallpaper.

One UI 5.0 Color Palette has two menus:

  • Wallpaper colors: This option will show you 12 color palettes and each carries 6 different shades for a different element of your device.
  • Basic colors: Inside, you will see 4 dual-color combinations along with 8 single colors that will best match your phone’s wallpaper.

Meanwhile, if you don’t want to apply any color palette and want to use your phone will the default colors and themes, Samsung is offering you the ability to completely disable Color Palette.
