Verizon rolls out October 2022 update to Samsung Galaxy A12, A50
Verizon started rolling out the October 2022 update to the Samsung Galaxy A12 and Galaxy A50 in the US. The update brings the October patch to the Galaxy A50, and the September patch to the Galaxy A12 smartphone users in the country.
Users of the Verizon branded Samsung Galaxy A12 smartphone can identify the September 2022 patch via PDA version number A125USQS4CVJ3, while the Galaxy A50 users can identify their phone’s October 2022 patch update via build version A505USQSKDVJ1.

Samsung launched the Galaxy A12 with Android 10-based One UI 2.x, while the Galaxy A50 with Android 9-based One UI 1.x out of the box. Both of these devices have completed their OS upgrades lifecycle, and Samsung is continuing to support them with regular security patches.

Your Galaxy device notifies you as soon as it receives a new over-the-air software update from the Samsung server. Meanwhile, you can also manually get the software update by navigating toward system Settings, followed by Software updates and Download and install.
