You can identify October 2022 update for Samsung Galaxy Tab S8, Galaxy Tab S8+, and Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra through the One UI build versions X700XXS2AVJ2, X800XXS2AVJ2, and X900XXS2AVJ2.

The installation package size of the latest update is 320.51MB. You can manually install it by visiting Settings >> Software Update >> Download and install.

Samsung has begun rolling out the October 2022 Android security patch update for Galaxy Tab S8, Tab S8+, and Tab S8 Ultra devices in Europe. The latest update comes with minor yet important system improvements and fixes for lots of issues.

According to the official changelog, the October 2022 security patch for the Galaxy Tab S8 series comes with optimizations for system security to keep your private files and data safe on your smartphone and protect them from unwanted bugs and viruses.

Enhnacing the system’s reliability is another aspect of the new update. It makes sure that you get uninterrupted functionality over your device. It reduces the problem of lagging, crashing, freezing, and other that harm the phone’s performance.

Aside from these, Samsung’s October 2022 patch details also mention fixes for 50 privacy and security-realted issues and vulnerabilities to enhance the overall device performance. These include 32 CVEs and 18 SVEs from Google and Samsung respectively.
