Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 Modes and Routines: One UI 5.0
Head over to the Settings of your Galaxy Z Fold 3 and tap the Modes and Routines function. When you enter the section, you will see that it is divided into two parts: “Modes” and “Routines.” Simply switch to the options to customize their functions.
Modes:
The new Mode feature will let you set customized device settings that you can enable with the press of a button or at predefined times. One UI 5.0 already offers you a bunch of common modes that you can activate and edit with ease. These include:
- Sleep
- Driving
- Exercise
- Relax
- Work
In addition, you also get the ability to create different modes according to the tasks you perform on daily basis. For example, if you go on a walk, have your diet, or feed your pet at a particular time daily, you can create different modes for it.
All you need to do is just tap on the “Add mode” option, name the mode, and customize its settings. You can also delete that mode if don’t want to use it anymore.
Routines:
Meanwhile, the Routines feature in One UI 5.0 lets you create automation that begins a string of actions. You can trigger a sequence of actions on your device that relays on your activity to navigate your daily habit. Here, you can add different places such as home, work, etc to activate routines at just the proper time.
For example, if you start to listen to music at a particular time at home or the office to relax, you can add the starting and ending for the music to start playing and stops playing automatically.
You can also use this feature at night if you like to listen to music while sleeping but sleeps without stopping it, the feature will automatically stop the music when you sleep.
This feature will also mute your phone when you are at a place you can’t pick up calls or reply to messages, lower your screen’s brightness level when you are going to sleep, and others.
