Way back in 2014, Samsung debuted the Galaxy K Zoom with a wish of blurring the line between smartphone and camera. Now, it looks like Samsung is considering to bring back the Galaxy K series of smartphones as three devices with K branding recently cleared BIS certification.

According to MySmartPrice report, the possible Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+ and Galaxy S23 Ultra devices have been spotted on India’s BIS certification site with model numbers SM-S911B/DS, SM-S916B and SM-S918B/DS, respectively. Aside from these devices, three devices with possible K series branding also cleared the certification.

BIS listing revealed the model numbers of those three Samsung K series devices are SM-K741B/DS, SM-K746B/DS and SM-K748B/DS. If we give names as per the company’s current naming strategy, these devices can be called Galaxy K74, K74 Plus and K74 Ultra, but it doesn’t make sense.

Apart from model numbers, there’s no information regarding these three mysterious Samsung devices. It could have been a typo or technical error as we haven’t heard about Samsung’s K series of smartphones in recent days. If it’s a technical error, the authority will refresh the listing page in the near future.

Galaxy K Zoom

Samsung launched the Galaxy K Zoom smartphone in April 2014 with its own developed hexa-core Exynos chipsets with quad-core 1.3GHz and dual-core 1.7GHz processors. In the camera department, the K Zoom was equipped with a 20.7-megapixel BSI CMOS camera sensor, via Engadget.
