TWRP is now available to download for Samsung Galaxy A52s
TeamWin Recovery Project (TWRP) team has added support for Samsung’s famous midrange Galaxy A52s smartphones. You can now download these TWRP builds to get additional functions and install other custom ROMs on your Samsung Galaxy A52s.
Regular customers might not find TWRP important but is necessary for many reasons when it comes to aftermarket development. Once you set it up on your phone, it will replace the default recovery environment that came with your device so you can root your phone through flash custom ROMs and kernels, create full backups, and others.

Talking about Galaxy A52s, it’s one of the most popular Samsung smartphones that was launched last year. The device is currently driving the Android 12-based One UI 4.1 software while the users are waiting for its second major OS update which is Android 13-based One UI 5.0.
It’s worth noting that Samsung has officially announced that the stable One UI 5.0 is coming to Galaxy A52s in December 2022 [Read more]. This will bring a slew of new features along with countless improvements for different compartments as well as will provide advanced privacy functions.
Till then, if you want to try out something different, you can install the TWRP builds. This will let you install different Android 12 custom ROMs on your Galaxy A52s. Do note that since some custom ROMs don’t come pre-installed with Google apps, you will have to download and flash a compatible GApps package, in case you want to continue using Google apps.
