One UI 5.0 App drawer on Samsung Galaxy S21 still misses Vertical scrolling
Samsung Galaxy S21 got some interesting App drawer modifications with an Android 13-based One UI 5.0 upgrade. But it still misses out on the vertical scrolling feature that has been common to other Android devices for quite a long time.
Even though a larger number of users are asking Samsung for Vertical scrolling in the app drawer, the Korean company has been providing only Horizontal swipes to let you visit more apps. And, the same is the case with One UI 5.0 software. The company should at least offers users the ability to choose between Vertical and Horizontal.

Samsung Galaxy S21 App drawer: One UI 5.0
One UI 5.0 is designed to make things simpler, clearer, and easier to use and a similar feature Samsung has brought to its new app drawer. It might have happened to you that you want to make a new app folder but have to select a single app and add it to that folder every time. The company is now providing you with an easy way to create an app folder.
With One UI 5.0, you get the ability to select multiple apps at a time. Once you select your desired app icons, you can simply tap on the Create folder option, placed at the top of the screen, and all these apps will be placed in that folder in no time.
Not only this, but you can also uninstall different applications in a bulk or can add those app icons to the home screen for easier access. All you need to do is, press and hold any app icon in the app drawer for a couple of seconds.
A small pop-up menu will appear that has a “Select” option. Just tap on that option and you can now select more applications, it is as easy as you select pictures from Gallery. “Uninstall” and “Create folder” options are available on the top of your screen, meanwhile, to add those selected app icons to the home screen, tap and hold any of these app icons for a couple of seconds and it’s done.
Besides these, the other features of the One UI 5.0 App drawer are similar to the previous One UI version. You can search for apps, hide app icons, customize the app folder colors, remove app names to make the drawer clearer, can change the grid, and more.
