Samsung Galaxy A14 MediaTek chip, Android 13 OS revealed through online benchmark

Recently, some of the key specifications of upcoming Samsung Galaxy A14 smartphones were revealed by European media and now the device has appeared on an online benchmark. The Geekbench report discloses a few more features of the device.

According to the Samsung Galaxy A14 benchmark listing, the device that carries model number SM-A145P will be powered by a MediaTek MT6769V processor, which is Hello G80. This chipset has a dual-core Cortex-A75 cluster clocked at 2.0GHz and a hexa-core Cortex-A55 cluster operating at 1.80GHz.

In addition to this, the MediaTek Hello G80 processor of Galaxy A14 will be paired with at least 4GB of RAM. It’s likely that the phone will feature 64GB of internal storage. Meanwhile, A 6GB RAM variant is also expected to arrive.

Moreover, the listing further reveals that the upcoming budget smartphone will drive the Android 13 operating system out of the box. At this time, we can not say whether it will feature One UI 5.0 or One UI 5.1 software. If it will launch after the Galaxy S23 series, it will be One UI 5.1.

Other than these, previous reports suggets that Galaxy A14 smartphones will equip a larger 6.8-inches FHD+ LCD display, a 50MP primary camera similar to its predecessor, and a typical battery of 5000mAh.

It could face improvements in the front camera, which is said to be 13MP now. For comparison, the A13 4G has a 5MP selfie shooter and the A13 5G has an 8MP selfie camera. The rest of the other details are currently under wraps and could uncover in the coming time.
