The latest update addresses over 50 vulnerabilities and issues that harm the privacy and security of users’ smartphones and cause data leaks. More than 30 of these are Android OS issues and are patched by Google. Samsung itself fixed 18 Galaxy-specific vulnerabilities, including a critical flaw that allowed hackers to gain unauthorized access to secure memory.

According to the official One UI 5.0 update roadmap, this update will release this month and will further expand to more users in December 2022.

Furthermore, Samsung is releasing the Galaxy A73 October 2022 Android security update with One UI build version A736BXXS2AVJ3. It is released in Latin America and should expand to other regions shortly.
