Sadly, Android 13 is the last major upgrade for Samsung Galaxy S20 and Note 20 series
Samsung began releasing an Android 13-based One UI 5.0 stable update to a bunch of Galaxy smartphones in different regions. Earlier in November 2022, Samsung Galaxy S20 and Galaxy Note 20 series smartphones started getting the Android 13 update, and soon all models of this series receive this major update.

But the sad thing is that Android 13 is the last major update for Galaxy S20 and Note 20 smartphones, which means that these devices are not eligible for the next Android update i.e. Android 14 (One UI 6.0).
However, if Samsung follows tradition and releases the One UI 5.1 update in the future, the Galaxy S20 and Note 20 series smartphones will be eligible as the update will be based on Android 13. But, these series smartphones will not receive any update based on Android 14 as their major update cycle has ended and Android 13 is its last update.
Back in 2020, Samsung unveiled the Galaxy S20 and Note 20 lineups, with the model names Galaxy S20, S20 Plus, S20 Ultra, Note 20, and Note 20 Ultra. The company shipped the S20 series models with Android 10-based One UI 2.1, while the Note 20 with One UI 2.5, as well as promised to offer up to three generations of OS upgrades.
Now, the devices have received three major upgrades including One UI 3.0 (Android 11), One UI 4.0 (Android 12), and the latest and the last one – One UI 5.0 (Android 13). So, users of the S20 and Note 20 series can wait for the One UI 5.1 update, which may be the next One UI version.
