Galaxy Tab S8 is the first Samsung tablet lineup to get Android 13 One UI 5.0 update

Samsung rolled out the stable Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update to a bunch of Galaxy flagship and mid-range smartphones. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Tab S8 has become the first Samsung tablet lineup to install the One UI 5.0 update.

The fresh software update brings a great number of new features alongside so many improvements over Android 12L-based One UI 4.1.1. In the meantime, the company also installs the most up-to-date November 2022 Android security patch in order to enhance the system’s privacy.

Galaxy Tab S8 One UI 5.0 features:

There’s a lot to look forward to in the latest iteration of Samsung’s custom Android software. The company has added more customization tools to bring your phone closer to you. Now you can change your wallpaper and lock screen directly from the lock screen and can add more tweaks to it.

The Color Palette feature has been improved to better apply wallpaper colors to the System UI menu. It now offers you 16 palettes that you can set on your device. Meanwhile, the user interface itself gets a minor redesign with bolder app icons and a reorganized notification panel and settings menu. System animations have also been improved.

Moreover, One UI 5.0 is making it easier than ever for you to keep your device protected and your sensitive information private with the new “Security and Privacy” menu in the settings. “Connected devices” and “Modes and Routines” are also new to Settings, which provides you better functions and faster access to them.

How to download:

Your tablet will notify you as soon as a new software update arrives. However, to check it manually, simply go to Settings >> Software update. From here, tap on Download and install option and follow the installation procedure to bring new features and changes to your Tab S8.
