It is worth mentioning that this app is currently available in beta and after testing the company will surely release its stable build. And it is compatible with Android devices running Android 9 or later versions.

The Health Connect app provides a central spot for users to manage their privacy settings to see which apps have access to data at any given time. This app stores the health and fitness data from your apps in one place, offline, and on your device so you can simply manage the sharing data.

More than 10 health, fitness, and wellness apps are currently integrated with Health connect platform, which includes MyFitnessPal, Oura, and Peloton. There’re several advantages of this app, check below.

  • More holistic health insights

With Health Connect, building integrations with new applications is as now easy as reading new data from Health Connect instead of building new integrations.

Peloton Members will have the option to share their workout stats across the ecosystem of apps they use to support their overall wellness, only through a single integration with Health Connect.

  • Standardized Data Schema

Health Connect offers a standardized data schema supporting over 40 data types across 6 categories. The modes are intuitive to use and cover a wide range of use cases, from workouts to sleep tracking to vitals. It also supports complex aggregations so you can fully customize queries based on your application’s use case.

  • Advanced Privacy Controls

You can review and choose what you want to share before a new app can access your data. If you want to see which apps recently accessed your data, you can check it on Health connect.
