Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Android 13/One UI 5.0 update reaches India

Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 series is receiving the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update in India. The rollout was initially begun in Europe this Monday and now it’s expanding to Indian customers. The company should also release this update in other countries in the next few days.

The 5G variants of Samsung Galaxy Tab S8, Tab S8+, and Tab S8 Ultra are getting the major One UI 5.0 update with build version X606BXXU2BVK4, X806BXXU2BVK4, and X906BXXU2BVK4 in India.

This upgrade installs the November 2022 Android security patch that addresses multiple privacy and security-related issues and vulnerabilities aside from bringing plenty of new features and improvements.

Some of the most highlighted features of One UI 5.0 include 16 color palette options to provide you more control over your phone’s look, two multitasking features for easier access to the Split screen and Pop-up view, and Extract text that allow you to copy text from any image and paste it to messages, notes, etc.

The new Lockdown mode brings more privacy to your phone, while the ability to turn off RAM Plus lets you take full advantage of your phone’s memory. On the other side, the Camera is getting new features like a watermark, help guide in Pro mode, and more, and the Gallery app is getting improved picture editing tools and more.

Aside from these, Samsung One UI 5.0 update is further improving the user interface of your device. It brings bolder app icons, improves animations, fastens system performance, and much more.

How to download:

As soon as your device will receive a new software update, it will notify you. But in case, you want to check it manually, head over to System Settings and then enter the Software update menu. Tap the Download and install options and complete the installation procedure.
