Earlier this month, Google detailed the November 2022 Play System update that greatly improves the Google Wallet, Parental control, and others. Meanwhile, a new useful function is now spotted on the Play Store that is likely to send reminders for app updates on Samsung and other Android smartphones to avoid crashing.

As spotted by @MishaalRahman, Google Play Store is getting a new v33.2 update. After this update, the Play Store will be able to send you a prompt that reads “Update the app to fix crashes”, which will ask you to update applications that cause crashes.

Many times it happens that some of the applications on our smartphones cause crashing. This usually happens if that app is not upgraded to its latest version. Meanwhile, to resolve this problem Google has found a solution.

Now if you forgot to upgrade your app or are not aware of the latest updates, Google Play Store will send you reminders so that you can update that application and get a seamless and uninterrupted performance on your Android smartphone, including Samsung Galaxies.

It’s worth mentioning that the prompt is only going to help if an app isn’t already fully updated. If you have already upgraded an application to its latest version and it’s still causing crashes, it means that the fix is not available yet.

Overall, this is a nice way to remind customers to keep their phones upgraded to the latest version. Furthermore, as per Google’s support page, the new prompt function is rolling out with the Play Store version 33.2 this week.
