The last year’s Galaxy M52 and Galaxy M32 budget phones have even received the major Android 13 upgrade, while the affordable variants of Galaxy S21 and S20 series flagships are still waiting for the same treatment. The reason behind this delayed rollout is unknown, and everyone just hoping the update will release soon.

In Germany, the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE and Galaxy S20 FE smartphones are planned to get updated to the new Android 13-based One UI 5.0 version by November itself. Some models that were scheduled for December rollout have already received the new OS, while, FE model owners are still running Android 12.

As there are still about 10 days remaining in November, we recommend users of Galaxy S21 FE and Galaxy S20 FE keep patience. The company may have been working to polish the newest Android 13-based One UI 5.0 upgrade, before seeding it to the Public.

Galaxy S21 FE

Galaxy S21 FE launched as Samsung’s first smartphone for 2022 with Snapdragon 888/Exynos 2100 chipsets, Android 12-based One UI 4.0 operating system out of the box. The company promised to bring at least four major OS upgrades and five years of security patches.

Galaxy S20 FE

Unlike the Galaxy S21 FE, the Galaxy S20 FE smartphone debuted with the Android 10-based One UI 2.5 operating system in H2 2020. The device is equipped with everything Samsung used in the standard Galaxy S20 with a less-premium design.
