Samsung has begun rolling out the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update for its Galaxy F series smartphone with Galaxy F62 being the first phone to grab the update in India.

The latest update installs plenty of new features and improvements to this mid-range Galaxy smartphone. Alongside this, it also brings the latest November 2022 Android security patch for privacy and security enhancements.

The Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update for Samsung Galaxy F62 comes with a One UI redesign, improved animations, bolder app icons, and faster performance. While considering features, the 16 Color palette options are the most notable.

It further adds new multitasking gestures like Swipe for Split-screen and Swipe for Pop-up view, Lockdown mode for advanced privacy, the ability to disable RAM Plus, Extract text from image feature, Smart Widgets, a new Camera watermark, new call screen backgrounds, and much more.

Moreover, Connected devices, Modes and Routines, and Security and Privacy are three new compartments in System Settings that lets you manage all the related functions in one place, letting you access select features with ease.
