Starting Switzerland, Samsung’s Android 13 update has reached various Galaxy S20 users all over the world. Now Samsung is rolling out the Galaxy S20 Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update for T-Mobile customers in the US.

This update installs dozens of new features for your Galaxy S20 series smartphone. Additionally, there are countless improvements, user interface changes, bolder app icons, smoother animations, and much more. Aside from the major changes, the latest update is also the November 2022 patch for security purposes.

Furthermore, Samsung is dispatching the Android 13 update for Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+, and Galaxy S20 Ultra smartphones with firmware version G981USQU3GVK1, G986USQU3GVK1, and G988USQU3GVK1, sequentially.

Android 13 is the last major upgrade for Galaxy S20:

Samsung Galaxy S20 is a premium smartphone launched back in the year 2020. Sadly, its customers have to be satisfied with the Android 13 operating system as it’s not eligible for any other major upgrade. However, when Samsung will release One UI 5.1 (also based on Android 13), the Galaxy S20 will also grab it.

Some most noteworthy Samsung Android 13 One UI 5.0 features are 16 Color Palette options, Per-app languages, Notification permissions, Stack widgets, the ability to disable RAM Plus, Lockdown mode, Extract text from images, Camera Watermark, and many more.

In addition, the company adds four new accessibility toggles to the Quick settings panel, three new Settings menus: Connected devices, Modes and Routines, Security and Privacy, three new Good Lock modules, etc.
