Samsung Galaxy S23 launching at February Unpacked in the US: Report
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Samsung stopped holding in-person product launch events and turned to virtual Unpacked. Meanwhile, it looks like Samsung is now all set to hold February 2023 Unpacked in-person to launch the Galaxy S23 series.
Reportedly, Samsung is going to launch the Galaxy S23 series at an Unpacked event in early February in the US, a company executive familiar with the matter cited koreajoongangdaily. It’s worth mentioning that the executive declined to specify the city or the exact date.

Here’s what Samsung executive said:
“The S23 series will be shown during our own Unpacked event in the United States, which will be held in February.”
A responsible Qualcomm officer already revealed that Samsung’s next flagship lineup will solely use Snapdragon chipsets. The latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 is manufactured by Taiwan’s TSMC, and the Galaxy S23 phones are likely to have an overclocked variant of the 8 Gen 2.
It’s also reported that the Galaxy S23 series devices may be priced higher than the S22 or S21 due to “inflationary pressures.” Since the demand for smartphones is weak and the global economy is facing a downturn due to the lockdown in China, Samsung may face difficulties in sales.
