Samsung Galaxy S23/S23+ spotted on FCC, expect early launch
Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S23 and S23 Plus flagships have been spotted on the United States’ FCC (Federal Communications Commission) certification database. The timeline of application and certification suggests that the company is rapidly moving towards Galaxy S23 series launch, and it could happen early.
According to the information, the unreleased Galaxy S23 “standard and Plus” variants with model numbers SM-S911B and SM-S916B have been spotted on the FCC database. The documents reveal both of these devices could stick on 25W fast charging support.

The South Korean tech giant introduced the Galaxy S22 flagship lineup in February this year, while its early certifications and a handful of past reports indicate that the Galaxy S23 series may launch earlier. Notably, there will also be the Galaxy S23 Ultra, alongside the standard and Plus variants of Galaxy S23.

As per the recent rumors, the Galaxy S23 won’t have Exynos variants for Europe and other markets as Samsung is ditching it in favor of Snapdragon. Earlier, the Galaxy S23 Geekbench scores revealed that Samsung might use an overclocked version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor.
Last month, a Korean media outlet reported that the Galaxy S23 series is planned to be unveiled in the first week of February 2023. To do so, the company is planning to hold an in-person Galaxy Unpacked event in San Francisco, United States.
