Samsung is continuously expanding its Android 13 update for eligible Galaxy smartphones and tablets. At the present time, the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update is rolling out to not so famed Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 smartphone.

The company is releasing a major software update to these rugged smartphone users with lots of new features, customization capabilities, and improvements. In addition, it installs the November 2022 patch for system security and stability enhancements.

The most noticeable One UI 5.0 features include 16 color palette options that will let you completely revamp the look of your phone. Whereas, the new Lock Screen customization options let users personalize every element of their lock screen.

The major update further brings two new multitasking gestures to open Split-screen and Pop-up window with just a swipe. It has an Extract text from image feature, Stack widgets, Per-app languages, Notification permission, enhanced editing tools, and many new Camera features.

Other than these, the company also significantly improves the user interface. There are new app icons, smoother animations, revamped Notification Panel and Quick Settings Panel, and more. Whereas, the Settings app is getting three new menus – Connected devices, Modes and Routines, and Security and Privacy.

Samsung is rolling out the Galaxy XCover 5 Android 13 One UI 5.0 update in many counties, including European regions. You can now manually check for the latest software update on your device through Settings >> Software update >> Download and install.
