Samsung is working on multi-fingerprint sensing tech to enhance the security of Galaxy devices and their users’ privacy. This solution is likely to make it possible for a device to read up to three fingerprints at the same time.

Dieter May, the CEO of ISORG, a French company that focuses on smartphone fingerprint sensing and other technology, was recently interviewed. In this interview, he revealed that Samsung is looking to introduce multi-fingerprint security technology by 2025.

Furthermore, Samsung announced at IMID 2022 that it is working on next-generation OLED displays. These screens will feature an all-in-one fingerprint scanning solution that will enable the device to scan three fingerprints at once.

The Korean company believes that the three fingerprints security method will be 2.5×10^9 (or 2,500,000,000) times more secure than using a single fingerprint as we do in the present period.

In the meantime, the company will also allow the entire screen to read fingerprints in order to offer more convenience to future Galaxy device users.

With OLED 2.0 and this upcoming All-in-One fingerprint scanning solution, Samsung is definitely going to set the standard for fingerprint security. At present time, we don’t know exactly when we will meet this technology. It’s expected the high-end Galaxy S series phones will introduce it in the year 2025.
