Samsung offers a bunch of customization options for its Always On Display feature so that Galaxy users can make their smartphone’s lock screen as informative and beautiful as they want. For the time being, the company is pushing the December 2022 update for the Samsung Always On Display feature with version 8.0.73.

The December 2022 AOD update brings common improvements to polishing this feature. According to the release notes, the update does not contain any new feature or changes but provide a smoother usability experience.

Identified via version 8.0.73, the latest Always on Display update comes with an installation package size of 39.63 MB. You can install this update via Galaxy Store or download it directly from the third-party sources link, check here.

The latest update is compatible with Galaxy devices running from One UI 5.0 based on Android 13 to Android 9 OS. It is initially rolling out so it may take hours/days to reach all eligible Galaxy devices.

You can also set your image on your smartphone’s AOD just need to open Settings >> Lock screen >> Scroll down and press Always on Display >> Tap on Clock Style  >> Image Clock >> Click on Gallery >> Select an image >> Tap Done.  Now, you can see your favorite image on AOD.
