Verizon’s Samsung Galaxy Watch 4, Watch 5 grabs December 2022 update in the US

Verizon is releasing a December 2022 software update for Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 5 customers in the US. This update slightly improves the performance of these wearables in order to maintain the user experience.

Aside from these, the update also aims to enhance your smartwatch’s system stability so that you can get uninterrupted and seamless functionality over your device. Besides these, the changelog doesn’t mention anything, however, you might notice some changes after installing the update.

Furthermore, the Verizon-locked Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 5 customers are gaining the December 2022 update with the following Obe UI build versions –

To check and download this update, go to the Galaxy wearable app on a connected Android phone and navigate to Watch settings >> Watch software update. On the Home tab, go to Watch software update >> Download and install.

Do note that this update is not meant to harm any of your data, still, we suggets you prepare a backup. To do so, head over to Galaxy Wearable app >> Watch Settings >> Accounts & Backup >> Click Data Backup.
