One UI 4.1 Security and Privacy:

Samsung One UI 4.1 has extremely robust privacy features. If you activate the privacy setting, you can see in real-time which apps are using the camera and microphone. Additionally, you can easily view the detailed usage log for the last 24 hours.

This software further has a “Permission Manager” function in the Privacy menu that allows you to manage access to permissions on an application-by-application basis. The same section also includes a clipboard access toggle. When turned on, you will receive alerts when the app accesses the contents of your phone clipboard.

One UI 5.0 Security and Privacy:

There is no privacy without security and Samsung understands this. Therefore, the company has merged these two different settings menus – “Biometrics and security” and “Privacy” into one clear and easy-to-navigate dashboard known as “Security and Privacy“.

With One UI 5.0, Samsung is making it easier than ever for you to keep your device protected and your sensitive information private. You can get a quick overview of your device’s security and find suggestions and warnings depending on the status with one quick glance.

Next, the new-gen software presents a new notification on the share panel to ensure that your personal information remains private. It alerts you if you are going to inadvertently share a photo that contains potentially sensitive information like the image of your credit or debit card, driver’s license, Social Security card, or passport.

Moreover, the company adds an icon that appears in the address bar on Samsung Internet to show the site’s security status. You can simply tap the icon to learn which information the website collects and tracks.
