One UI 4.1 Call backgrounds:
Samsung One UI 4.1 introduced many new features but unfortunately did not bring separate call background for the users, which is already available in many other brands of phones.
Instead, it has the same boring greenish background for call apps. It has the ability to choose call backgrounds from your Gallery or AR emojis but when you save it, it applies to all contacts. You can not set any special call background for different people.
One UI 5.0 Call backgrounds:
One UI 5.0 had finally fixed the users’ concerns regarding call backgrounds. Users can now set different backgrounds for specific contacts. It will help them recognize who’s calling without even reading the name of that person.
And that’s not it, but the company has also removed that old greenish call background. Now you will get many other colorful backgrounds by default. So if you don’t want to set images or waste your time customizing it, you will still get an impressive call background for each caller.
One UI 5.0 vs One UI 5.0 – Call backgrounds
Things are completely clear. The new addition of per-contact call background in One UI 5.0 might not be useful for many but it’s an impressive integration. This small change not only makes your call screen look great but also makes it easier to tell who’s calling from a distance or at a glance.
