One UI 4.1 Home Screen:

One UI 4.1 was feature-riched. It had lots of features for your home screen and its customization. When you tap and hold the home screen and you will find different options for Wallpaper and styles, Themes, Widgets, and Settings.

Samsung even allows you to use your home screen in landscape mode. It lets you view the screen comfortably by displaying your phone’s screen in horizontal orientation mode.

One UI 5.0 Home Screen:

Samsung introduced iOS-inspired widget stacking in One UI 4.1 and with One UI 5.0, the company has tweaked it for better usability. Thanks to “Stack Widgets”, now you don’t need to create multiple home screens on your Galaxy phone. You can combine multiple widgets of the same size and place them as one widget on the homescreen.

In addition, the new software also offers a “Smart suggestion widget” that knows your needs before you do. The widget shows apps to use, people to call, calendar events, and more based on your routine.

Aside from these, there is a “Select app” feature on the One UI 5.0 home screen. You might have faced the inconvenience of choosing a single app to create an app folder. The company has resolved your concern. You can now select various apps on the home screen (just like you select many pictures/videos in the gallery) and create a new folder in no time.

Not only create folders but you can also uninstall many apps at a time and remove or add those selected apps from/to the home screen.
