Oppo comes up with Find N2 and N2 Flip to challenge Samsung foldable’s reign
Various smartphone manufacturers have their own foldable smartphones but Samsung offers some of the best foldables in the industry. Meanwhile, Oppo has arrived with its new Find N2 and Find N2 Flip to challenge Samsung foldable.
Both Oppo Find N2 and Find N2 Flip looks excellent as well as come with some of the most advanced features and technologies. The Find N2 is the direct successor to the original Oppo Foldable phone while the Find N2 Flip is completely new.

Design:
Find N2
The competitor Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4, Oppo Find N2 is 14.6mm thick when closed and 7.4mm when opened. The company used an anodized metal frame to build the phone and offered three different color variants, including black, matte white, and minty green.
Find N2 Flip
Oppo Find N2 Flip is the company’s first clamshell foldable smartphone. It comes with flat-ish sides and a large vertical cover display on the outside. Although the cover display is much larger than Galaxy Z Flip 4, it offers fewer functionalities like notification browsing and acting as a camera viewfinder for both the front and rear cameras.

The device comes with a 5.54-inch external AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 2120 × 1080. It has an aspect ratio of 17.7:9, which is much shorter and wider than the Galaxy Z Fold 4.
Whereas the inner display is 7.1-inch LTPO AMOLED and that too features a 120Hz refresh rate but with 1920 × 1792 pixels resolution and a 9:8.4 aspect ratio.
Find N2 Flip
This new Oppo clamshell foldable features a 6.8-inch main AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 3.2-inch cover panel. The cover display has a 60Hz refresh rate, and it’s an OLED panel as well.
Processor:
Find N2
The phone is equipped with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, the same as the competitor Galaxy Z Fold 4. It comes with either 12GB or 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM along with 256GB and 512GB of UFS 3.1 flash storage, respectively.
Find N2 Flip
Under the hood, this phone has a MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ SoC, unlike the Find N2. This is paired with either 8GB, 12GB, or 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB or 512GB of internal storage.
Camera:
Find N2
Oppo Find N2 sports a triple rear camera setup that consists of a 50MP primary camera, a 48MP ultrawide camera, and a 32MP telephoto camera. Meanwhile, for selfies, the device has a 32MP camera on both inner and outer displays.
This device also features the company’s proprietary ISP, which is the MariSilicon X which was co-developed with Hasselblad.
Find N2 Flip
For optics, the Oppo Find N2 Flip offers a 50MP main camera and an 8MP ultra wide-angle camera on the rear side. Whereas, the front side has a 32MP selfie shooter. This device also equips MariSilicon X for improved camera performance.
Battery:
Find N2
The Chinese company has launched the device with a 4,520mAh battery that supports 67W fast wired charging. Oppo claims it can fully charge in only 42 minutes.
Find N2 Flip
Oppo has installed a 4,300mAh battery on this device that supports 44W fast charging. However, it is not capable to charge wirelessly.
Software:
Both new Oppo foldable phones come pre-installed with the Android 13-based ColorOS 13 software. Whereas, the Galaxy Z Fold 4, currently running Android 13 One UI 5.0, was launched with Android 12L-based One UI 4.1.1 and it was a plus point for Galaxy users as Android 12L has various large-screen specified features that you might not see in Oppo Find N2.
