Last year, Samsung introduced its Internet Browser for Wear OS smartwatches. But due to some unknown reasons, this browser disappeared from Google Play Store. Now as the Samsung Internet app returns to Play Store service, Wear OS customers can continue to take advantage of this full-fledged web browser.

With the launch of the Galaxy Watch 4 and Watch 4 Classic, Samsung ditched Tizen for its smartwatches and switched to Google’s Wear OS. Around the same time period, the company also launched Samsung Internet for this smartwatch and later expanded it to all Wear OS watches.

Samsung Internet has been very helpful for users as there is no other web browser, such as Google Chrome, available for Wear OS smartwatches. Its sudden removal must have caused inconvenience to many smartwatch customers who wanted to install it.

Thankfully, this problem didn’t last long and Samsung re-released its Internet browser app on the Play Store for all Wear OS customers. However, the company has not told anything as to why they removed this app for the smartwatches.

We could assume that Samsung has removed it for the time being to update the application or add new changes to it, but nothing happened like this. There is no change in the returned Samsung Internet app, it is the same as the old one. It may have been removed by mistake by the developers.

Anyways, interested Wear OS users can now head over to the Play Store app on their watches to install this application and browse the internet on their wrists.
