Here’s how you can use Samsung Private Share feature to send files securely
It’s important to securely share personal and sensitive content, such as travel photos, family videos, confidential business documents, and more. Samsung understands this and thus provides a Private Share feature to let Galaxy users share their files safely.
Samsung Private Share is a privacy-preserving file-sharing feature that allows you to share your data without concerns of invasion of privacy and loss of ownership.
When you share files using this feature, your files are securely encrypted. The company even allows you to set permission and expiration date for the data and grand read-only access. Here’s how to use this feature on your Samsung Galaxy devices.
How to use Private Share:
To share your files safely using the Private Share feature on Samsung phone, visit system ‘Settings‘. Now go to the ‘Security and Privacy‘ menu and tap ‘Private Share‘.
Next, hit the ‘Continue‘ button and allow the required permissions by tapping the ‘Allow‘ option. Now tap ‘Share files‘ and choose the type of files you want to send. Select your file and tap ‘Done‘.
From here, tap the ‘Select from contacts‘ option and choose the contact to want to share your files with, and tap ‘Done‘. Next, set an expiration date for how long the receiver can access this file, and finally, tap the ‘Send‘ button.
